Charles Wahler

I came to Arizona to attend college and have worked for the National Park Service for 32+ years. I started at Grand Canyon National Park, went to St Louis, MO; Morrisotwn, NJ; and Fort Laramie, WY; before returing to Grand Canyon in 1990. I am currently the Deputy Chief of Interpretation for the park.

I have been married for 34 years. My wife Sally runs the Human Resources office for Xanterra, the major concessionaire in the park. We have two children. Erin is 26 and a 5th grade teacher in Colorado Springs. Jacob is 23 and spends his summers as a river guide in UT.
