Laur's sincerity is omnipresent, especially when she presides over meetings of FTA, balances the books for the French Club, or co-edits the Lance . . . she often claims "there isn't any time," but any observer would believe she invents it! . . . she's hopelessly addicted to memories of the '68 proms and dreams of France . . . when viewing the world, Laurie finds prejudice an unnecessary problem: she'll use her language talents to communicate understanding.
