Run for your life if you can...

Was it Senor Gorelick who inspired that walk? -- Mitch did it from San Jose to Cartago...as scuba diver and runner, he's usually headed toward Spanish Club or the Lance office...high hopes soar towards the Air Force, then down to earth for a carerr in the stock market.

After undergraduate school at the University of Tennessee and a few years back in New Jersey I moved to Los Angeles where I lived for 13 years. I earned a masters degree in journalism and mass communications from USC, worked as a business reporter covering real estate and financial services and then segued into financial communications for a public relations firm. I moved to Virginia in 1990 and have been here since with the exception of 18 months in Charlotte, N.C., where I worked in the capital markets group for a major financial institution in its investment banking area. I am now senior media relations manager at the Nuclear Energy Institute in Washington, D.C., where I serve as a spokesperson on business operations, new plant financing and economics of nuclear power.

I am married with three children, two boys and a 15-year-old daughter in high school. I’m still at the health club lifting weights, on the cardio machines or playing tennis six or seven days a week.
