Spent first 20 years of my career in retailing with Bamberger's and Bloomingdale's - ultimately becoming the senior vice president of Bloomingdale's NY - Changed careers to Wall Street and worked in investment banking for Dillon Read, DLJ, Ernst & Young Corporate finance and Giuliani Capital Advisors (yes, that Giuliani) - Am now a partner in an investment bank and corporate advisory firm called Carl Marks (not Karl Marx), in NYC - I live in Essex Fells with my wife, Liz. We have two children, Justin, 23 - a Dickinson graduate and surfing entrepreneur and Molly, 21 entering her senior year at Bard College, a poet, no less. |
