Jan Huttner
Who can say? Today may live in history
Mordant but romantic, Jan devotes her spare (?) time to history, history, history!...last year Mr. Rans' all-male A.P. Moden European History class was heaven...this year the Young Democrats had a dedicated secretary, as Mr. Cooney well knows...she reads, she questions, and often has some very interesting answers...to the question of her future -- anthropology.

 | After many years as a healthcare computer consultant, I made a huge career transition. I am now a Chicago-based film critic specializing in films by women directors/screenwriters &/or Jewish filmmakers. I am also working on a book. I'm married; no kids; two cats. |

Yowza: this is me! For almost 20 years, as I travelled the country as a healthcare computer consultant, I always thought of each new client site as an ethnographic adventure: what would Margaret Mead do if she landed on this "island"??? So no, I never became an academic anthropologist, but yes, the person I was then is so much the same as the person I am now. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Not for ME to say ;-)
